Traffic conditions will be very difficult in the return direction this weekend according to Bison Futé.

Vacationers were used to facing difficulties in the departure direction. Now, as the holidays come to an end, it is the return traffic that will be the heaviest this weekend, especially on Saturday.

A calm Friday

In the departure direction, traffic will be smooth across the entire country according to Bison Futé, but the return direction will be much more complicated. The southeast will be the most congested region on the roads. The A7 and A9 will experience the highest traffic. For the rest of mainland France, traffic is considered difficult by Bison Futé.

A complicated Saturday

Saturday will be very different from Friday. The day is marked in red for the return journey across the entire country. Like Friday, A7 and A9 will experience heavy congestion, but A10 is also added to the list. That doesn’t mean the departure side will be calm. Bison Futé has classified the entire country as orange for departures, indicating difficult traffic conditions.

The first truly difficult Sunday

Difficult, yes, but only in the return direction. The departure side is classified as green by Bison Futé. The return journey will be complicated in the southeast of the country, where traffic is rated red. For the rest of France, the territory is classed as orange, indicating potential difficulties.

As for Monday, traffic will be very calm in both directions.
