Matra Snow Cross Takes Place in Méribel

The first stage of the Matra Snow Cross takes place in Méribel from January 2 to 5, 2024 on the Chaudanne plateau.

Created in 2017, the Matra Snow Cross, a competition in e-Fatbike Matra (electric-assist bicycle), is held in several stages. Unique in its kind, free and open to the general public, this competition consists of bumps, slalom, and turns, carefully designed to provide participants with a thrilling experience on moderate slopes. The first stage of the 2024 edition will take place in Méribel, a partner station, from January 2 to 5, 2024 on the Chaudanne plateau, right in the heart of the station.

The concept is simple: Participants race in waves of four on a snow boarder that allows overtaking. To qualify for the next round, participants must finish in the top two. The main goal of the Matra Snow Cross is to democratize the use of Fatbike and demonstrate through a sporting event the benefits of this activity: wandering, exercising, and recharging, all while enjoying the stunning landscapes offered by the mountain peaks.
