Decathlon Introduces the Rockrider E-ACTV 100 for €999.99

Decathlon makes a bold move by unveiling a multi-purpose electric assist bicycle for less than 1000 euros, the Rockrider E-ACTV 100.

Modern design, high or low frame, trendy colors, and always this bargain price. Decathlon is expanding its new offerings in the cycling world currently, as the market has slowed down, but its relevance remains intact.

Thus, with the Rockrider E-ACTV 100, Europe’s number 1 sports brand offers a versatile electric-assist bicycle that suits both daily commutes to work and weekend outings. The practical features immediately stand out: front disc brake for quick deceleration, front fork, front and rear fenders, large wheels for stability, deep-groove all-terrain tires for all-weather riding. And finally, the choice of low or high frame for all body types.

Weighing 23 kg fully equipped, the Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 100 houses its electric motor in the rear wheel. The maximum torque is 45 Nm, while the battery, removable and integrated into the frame, offers up to 70 km of range. Its 356 Wh capacity will likely give about 40 km in real-world conditions, but that is already an excellent figure for daily use.

Another good idea: a smartphone holder comes standard on the stem to track your GPS or monitor real-time bike performance data (speed, remaining battery, elevation, etc.)

In its specifications, Decathlon ensured that its Rockrider E-ACTV 100 would be its most repairable bike ever designed. The company guarantees that no service (parts + labor) will exceed 25% of the bike’s price, including the motor.

If the services offered by this friendly Decathlon Rockrider E-ACTV 100 do not convince you, the range also includes the E-ACT 500 (150 km range, 55 Nm motor torque) at 1999 euros and the E-ACTV 900 (150 km range, 62 Nm motor torque with automatic transmission) at 2699 euros.
