The Elops 500, a modern and durable electric bike in its Long Distance version, is now offered at €1299.99.

The Elops 500 Long Distance stands out with its design tailored for daily commutes and long distances. Launched two years ago, it aims for regular urban use, capturing the spirit of a traditional bike while integrating an efficient electric motor.

With a more contemporary aesthetic than the Dutch-style bikes in the Elops range, the Elops 500 is intended to be sleek yet modern. It is available in two types of frames: classic “diamond” or semi-open, the latter being particularly suitable for shorter riders or women. In terms of performance, the 45 Nm motor is integrated into the rear hub. It provides assistance up to 25 km/h, within the regulatory limit. The removable 504 Wh battery, the most powerful at Decathlon, guarantees a range of about 60 km in maximum mode, and up to 115 km in eco mode.

This electric bike also focuses on safety and robustness: it is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes, reinforced wheels, puncture-resistant tires, as well as integrated lighting, a luggage rack, an ergonomic handlebar, and an 8-speed transmission.

However, one of its main advantages now remains its new attractive price of €1299.99 guaranteed until 09/06/2025, significantly reduced from the initial launch price of €1649. This price repositioning makes it one of the best value-for-money options on the market in its category, combining comfort, range, and reliability at a now much more accessible price.
