The Spanish company BH recently launched a new bike suited for city and urban commuting. This Core Cross bike falls into the brand’s “hybrid” category, alongside the Atom. This would offer a range of 130 kilometers according to the manufacturer, in eco mode on flat terrain.
The motor is also perfectly discreet for the untrained eye. Designed and manufactured by BH, the unit offers 65 Nm of torque, with no friction reported, making it easy to surpass the electric limit of 25 km/h using leg power. Strengthening the sporty aspect of this model, the transmission is a standard chain drive with a high-end Shimano Deore 10-speed derailleur.
The price of the BH Core Cross bike
For €2,899, the BH Core Cross offers good value for money. A fairly torque-rich motor, a high-capacity battery, a lightweight bike with quality Shimano components, this electric bike presents a very good quality/price ratio.
