Belgian brand Ahooga has unveiled its new foldable electric assist bike, with a 20-inch urban model named Ahooga Max.

The brand was created eight years ago. Today, the new Ahooga model is released with the goal of “building the best urban bike”. The Belgian company offers a wide range of electric bikes.

A new well-equipped model

The Belgian firm drew inspiration from BMX, Decathlon, or Brompton for this new model. Many enhancements are included in this new Ahooga Max, such as a fully integrated and removable 245 Wh battery with an assistance range of 80 km. An optional battery is also available, offering an additional 187 Wh. It features a 36-volt, 250-watt motor with 30 Nm, located in the front hub.

Lightweight

The bike can be folded in three parts in less than 10 seconds according to the manufacturer. A way to use the bike in all circumstances. Whether you are at home or on the metro, this Max model measures 77 cm in height, 70 cm in length, and 44 cm in width. An important point not to overlook: the bike weighs 18 kilograms with the battery and pedals included. That’s barely the weight of a scooter. Of course, for everyone’s safety, the bike is equipped with front and rear lights.

The price of the Ahooga Max electric assist bike will be announced soon.
