Uncommon event, Honda lowers the prices of its cars!

Since the beginning of the year, Honda has initiated a price adjustment policy. In April 2024, the Civic and ZR-V will also benefit from this.

Being a technologically eccentric manufacturer is no longer enough to motivate the purchase of a Honda. The Japanese firm has finally understood this and has heard the message from its dealers. For a few weeks now, Honda has embarked on a strategy to lower its prices to be more appealing to customers when making a choice.

Honda justifies this policy by a return to normal component prices that equip its cars following the post-Covid spike. It seems that now is the time to pass these savings on to customers.

After its electric SUV e:Ny1, which has lost 12,800 euros (!), it’s the turn of the Civic and ZR-V to experience a significant price cut applicable from April 2, 2024.

The entire Civic range thus drops by 1500 euros including tax. The entry ticket is now 37,720 euros, still a significant amount, but the very efficient hybrid-rechargeable technology makes the price justified.

As for the compact SUV ZR-V, the Executive trim is 2000 euros cheaper starting at 43,950 euros. The Sport version decreases by 1500 euros (now 45,950 euros), while the high-end Advance trim drops by 500 euros to be priced at 48,450 euros.

Of course, against superstars like the Tesla Model Y or the Renault Scenic electric vehicles, which are much cheaper, it will always be challenging to stand out. But let’s applaud Honda’s approach and honesty.
