An SUV at the price of a city car? In October, Citroën displays its C3 Aircross starting at €15,990. A tempting offer, but it requires giving up your old car.

SUVs have grown larger, and so have their prices. So when a family model drops below €16,000, we can’t help but take a closer look at the price tag. Until October 31, 2026, Citroën offers its C3 Aircross at €15,990 through participating dealerships. This is bound to attract drivers looking for more space without blowing their budget.

At this price, however, one must accept a specific configuration: You trim, a 100 hp petrol engine, and a manual gearbox. Those who prefer an automatic transmission or additional features will need to budget for a different amount.

Moreover, the announced price includes a trade-in bonus of €1,200. To benefit from it, one must trade in a vehicle older than eight years. This condition deserves as much attention as the large printed amount: without a vehicle meeting the criteria, the offer does not apply as stated.

Before signing, it’s wise to compare the total amount offered for your old car with what a separate sale might yield. A light monthly payment or an attractive discount doesn’t tell the whole story of the automotive budget by itself.
