New Toyota Aygo X: Small Hybrid, Big Ambitions!

Toyota continues its electrification of the range with the hybrid variant of the small urban crossover Aygo X.

With just 85 g of CO2/km, the new Aygo X boasts the lowest emissions on the market for a non-rechargeable hybrid. Toyota also announces an 18% reduction in its carbon footprint over the entire lifecycle compared to the previous non-hybrid model. More powerful, this version develops 116 hp, 44 more than before, while offering quicker accelerations and a dynamic drive, without compromising its urban usability that has made the Aygo X successful since 2022.

Restyling and updates for the Aygo X

In terms of design, the hybrid Aygo X adopts a redesigned front, 17 or 18-inch wheels, and a palette of colors called “spicy colors.” For the first time, a GR SPORT trim joins the lineup, featuring specific suspension and steering, dual-tone paint, and aesthetic elements inspired by Toyota Gazoo Racing universe.

The interior benefits from upgraded equipment, including a touchscreen up to 10.5 inches on higher trims, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, and an optional JBL audio system. The MyToyota app also enables digital vehicle tracking and the use of a digital key.

In terms of safety, the compact city car benefits from the latest generation of Toyota Safety Sense, including an upgraded pre-collision system, emergency steering assistance, and an optimized adaptive cruise control.
