Karma really thinks it can sell its Revero in Europe
This page is translated from the original post "Karma pense vraiment pouvoir vendre sa Revero en Europe" in French.

The California-based manufacturer Karma has ambitions as grand as the technical specifications of its cars. But is that enough?
Karma Automotive has made the radical choice to position itself in the golden niche of ultra-premium 100% electric or extended range vehicles (E-REV). Naturally, the more expensive the bill, the larger the margins; Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Porsche would not deny that. However, these three brands have an image, a history, and an aura, which is far from being the case for Karma. So, are these ambitions excessive? The answer is forthcoming as Karma prepares to launch the third generation of its Revero in Europe for the last quarter of 2024.

The Karma Revero is a 4-seater handcrafted with a powerful design inspired by the Fisker Karma. Indeed, Karma is a brand born from the ashes of the first generation Fisker. Henrik Fisker recently tried to relaunch his brand but with no more success than the first time… It is impossible to classify this car into a precise category; let’s just say it’s a sporty coupe sedan. Its endless hood houses an extended range electric powertrain. The 28 kWh battery of the Revero, along with the 1.5-liter turbocharged powertrain, is coupled with an onboard generator providing electricity to the dual motor propulsion system of 400 kW. It’s hard to make it more complicated, but on paper, it’s a forward-looking solution that Audi has notably implemented in the Dakar! This configuration delivers 536 horsepower and 746 Nm of torque while offering up to 128 km of purely electric range and a total range of 580 km.
The price of the 3rd generation Karma Revero will start in Europe at 145,000 euros, excluding local taxes, and the first deliveries are expected in the Netherlands and other European markets in the 4th quarter of 2024.

Meanwhile, the brand promises to introduce new models, such as the Gyesera, the super coupe Kaveya, and the Ivara with a launch rhythm every 18 months. It’s ambitious, but is it realistic? It will all depend on the success of the Revero.
