Green victory for Polestar at the Mille Miglia

The Sino-Swedish manufacturer wins the alternative energy category of the legendary Italian race Mille Miglia for the second consecutive year.

Polestar has won the 2025 edition of the Mille Miglia Green with its Polestar 4 coupe SUV, driven by the Italian team made up of Mirco Magni and Federico Giavardi. After finishing in second place in 2019 with the Polestar 1 and again in 2023 with the Polestar 2, the brand secured its first victory in 2024. This year, it affirms its progress by once again dominating this uniquely formatted competition.

Created to echo the famous historical Mille Miglia, the Mille Miglia Green is a regularity race that highlights alternative-powered vehicles. Held on the same roads as the classic event, it follows an iconic route through Italian landscapes, blending heritage and innovation. The race aims to promote sustainable mobility solutions within a framework that celebrates automotive history.

A regular appointment for Polestar

For this 2025 edition, Polestar entered its entire range of Long Range electric models: the Polestar 2, 3, and 4. Each vehicle wore a special “Collezione Mille” livery, inspired by the aesthetic codes of the original race, with numbers and colors reminiscent of the Italian flag.

The winning car, a Polestar 4 Long Range Single Motor, is equipped with a 100 kWh battery offering up to 620 km of range. It is also fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires, specially developed in collaboration with Polestar’s chassis team to optimize road handling and energy consumption.

The other models from the brand also performed well: the Polestar 3 finished fifth, and the Polestar 2 sixth.
