The Tesla Cybertruck now exported to two countries. Which ones?

If the production of the electric pickup from Tesla, the Cybertruck, started at the end of 2023, its commercialization had until then been limited to the USA.

A small step for Tesla, a giant leap for customers. One could somewhat summarize the export of the Cybertruck, for the first time since its production began, as a significant milestone in the history of this electric pickup.

However, in reality, we are still a long way from world domination, since the first two destinations chosen by the American manufacturer are neighboring “friendly” countries, which have nearly identical homologation standards: Canada and Mexico.

Nevertheless, there is one interesting piece of information to note: the price, which is totally outrageous. Tesla wants to make its Cybertruck an ultra-trendy and exclusive product, with a starting price in Canada of 126,500 euros for the AWD version… all excluding taxes! In Canada, this means a final price of about 151,000 euros.

Outrageous prices!

The Cyberbeast version, with a completely crazy technical sheet, rises to about 201,000 euros. If you’re interested, a deposit of 150 dollars is required in Canada to register your order online… compared to 2000 dollars in Mexico. Is there confidence?

Regarding the timeline, Tesla estimates that the first deliveries in these two countries will begin between October and November 2024.

And would you buy a Cybertruck at that price, when the initial promise was for a vehicle at 40,000 dollars?
