Subaru Solterra: a lease at €399/month and an XXL mileage

Clone of the Toyota bZ4X, the Subaru Solterra aims to attract with an ultra-appealing offer with zero down payment and 40,000 km over 24 months.

If the offer appeals to you, it’s probably wise to stop all activities and head straight to your Subaru dealer. Why? Because the 24-month lease offer, 40,000 kilometers, and 399 euros per month without a down payment will be limited to only 50 vehicles in France. Quite a small number, indeed.

Two years of leasing and 40,000 kilometers is truly an exceptional distance permitted these days by manufacturers. And when you add to that the absence of a down payment and the savings made with electric vehicles, what Subaru is offering is frankly unprecedented.

What does the offer say?

Not much. The model in question is the Subaru Solterra Comfort, an all-wheel-drive electric SUV with a power output of 160 kW (217 horsepower) from two motors of 80 kW each. Ultimately, the lease over 2 years will cost you 9,576 euros, which is less than 25% of the initial sale price. A significant bargain since you won’t have to bear the massive depreciation currently associated with electric vehicles.
