Model Y: Tesla offers a super bonus of €4,000!

Following a promotion of 2000 euros last month, the Tesla Model Y in stock is benefiting from an additional discount of 4000 € on top of the ecological bonus.

From July 15 to August 31, 2024, with delivery expected before September 30, 2024, all Tesla Model Y available in stock enjoy a discount of 4000 euros. When adding the ecological bonus of an additional 4000 euros for some models (Propulsion and Long Range), the total price reduction reaches 8000 euros. That’s a -18% reduction!

A few days ago, Mobiwisy announced the imminent reasons for these significant upcoming price cuts. The fireworks have begun!

Tesla seems to be on a major clearance campaign. Just last month, the American manufacturer offered a 2000 euro discount to sell its Model Y Propulsion. The idea is that this version will quickly disappear from the catalog, as its relevance has decreased since the arrival of the Long Range, which is only 2000 euros more expensive… but offers 155 kilometers more range.

Making Room Before the Facelift?

Tesla is much less in the spotlight for electric car buyers as competition grows. Similarly, not everyone can afford an electric SUV priced at 41,000 euros. No matter how good it is. Before Covid, the average price of a new car in France was 28,000 euros. As long as Tesla does not have an affordable city car in its catalog, there will be a glass ceiling. It might even drop, as the phase of attracting early adopters is over, and the renewal of orders is not large enough to maintain production pace.

Consequently, even though it will be difficult to find available units as they will sell out quickly and Tesla will offer them sparingly, the Tesla Model Y Propulsion now starts at a price of 36,990 euros.

A very attractive offer that deserves careful consideration! The central question remains whether you prefer a cheap current Tesla Model Y, or wait for the very upcoming facelifted version, expected to be presented in the fall for a dealership arrival by early 2025 at the latest. It’s up to you…
