To beautifully conclude the Formula E season, Nissan unveils a special livery for its single-seater, in the colors of the next-generation LEAF.
On the occasion of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship 2024/25 finale, taking place on July 27 and 28 in London, Nissan highlights its new LEAF with a special livery for its race car. The Japanese team will race both of its cars in a unique teal blue shade, inspired by the design of the newly unveiled 100% electric model.

This launch marks the arrival of the third generation of the Nissan LEAF, now produced in the United Kingdom. The first mass-market electric vehicle launched in 2010, the LEAF has sold nearly 700,000 units in fifteen years. This new version aims to be more modern and dynamic, benefiting from the expertise accumulated since the brand’s inception in electromobility.
Luxurious Season for Nissan
On the track, the Nissan Formula E Team approaches the last two races of the season with significant stakes. Second in the overall constructors’ and teams’ standings, the team aims for a solid performance to try and secure the title. Oliver Rowland, recently crowned world champion after his victory in Berlin, will be driving car number 22. Alongside him, Frenchman Norman Nato will be back in car number 17. He has a good history on the London circuit, having scored points in three of the last four races held on this track.

The Excel London circuit, 2.09 kilometers long, is the only one on the calendar that combines indoor and outdoor sections. It runs through the aisles of the London exhibition center before bordering the docks. Narrow and technical, it makes overtaking difficult, which gives qualifying sessions a strategic role. The main overtaking zones are at turn 1 and at the external chicane of turns 10 and 11.

Free practice will begin on Friday at 5 PM (French time), with qualifying scheduled for 1:20 PM and races starting at 6 PM on Saturday and Sunday. This grand race weekend can be followed on AUTOhebdo.
