Alpine Announces Electric Crossover for 2025
This page is translated from the original post "Alpine annonce un crossover électrique pour 2025" in French.

As part of the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi investment plan, the Alpine brand confirms a new crossover model for 2025, manufactured in France.
Renault Nissan Mitsubishi’s 2030 plan was very ambitious in terms of electric vehicle investment. With a sum of 23 billion euros, 35 new models, and 5 platforms, it was impossible to discuss all brands and vehicles individually. Alpine therefore waited until this Friday to give a glimpse of its future.
The first crossover will be electric
The group’s sporty brand announced the arrival of an entirely new model. It will launch its first crossover, of the GT type. Visually, it will likely have the looks of a coupe, in line with current trends (Volkswagen ID.5, or the Renault Arkana to stay with the manufacturer).
The announcement was made with much fanfare at the Dieppe factory (Seine-Maritime). Alpine CEO Laurent Rossi was accompanied by Renault CEO Luca de Meo, French Alpine F1 driver Esteban Ocon, and Economy Minister Bruno Lemaire.

Mégane electric platform and made in France
Alpine is still keeping details about this car under wraps. It only mentions the electric platform CMF-EV, the technical basis used by Nissan Ariya and Renault Mégane E-Tech electric. Regarding features, they will include “content and equipment unseen in this segment.”
This new Alpine will be manufactured at the Dieppe site. To add even more historical significance, the site has been renamed Manufacture Alpine Jean Rédélé, after the founder of the brand.
Alpine’s 100% electric range by 2026
Beyond the crossover, Alpine will have a complete lineup and will be a 100% electric car brand. Currently producing only the sporty A110, the catalog will triple by 2026, with three models. The first is likely to arrive in 2024. It will be a sporty city car built on the group’s CMF-BEV platform. It is therefore likely to share many features with the upcoming Renault 5.

As for the other model, it will simply be a completely electric replacement for the A110. To achieve this, Alpine is working with British specialist Lotus, but don’t expect this car before 2026.
