Cadillac Super Cruise

Cadillac launches Super Cruise in France starting December 2026. This hands-free driving assistance will cover over 180,000 kilometers of roads in Europe, with three years of service included.

Letting go of the steering wheel on the highway, even in traffic jams. This is Cadillac’s promise with the European launch of Super Cruise, announced for mid-December 2026. France is among the 16 countries involved, alongside Germany and Switzerland.

Showcased at the Auto Zurich show from November 5 to 8, this technology will equip certain electric SUVs from the brand. Cadillac announces over 180,000 kilometers of compatible roads in Europe, which drivers will be able to identify before their departure.

Super Cruise operates up to 130 km/h

On eligible portions, Super Cruise manages steering, acceleration, and braking. It keeps the vehicle in its lane and adjusts its speed to maintain a distance from the car in front.

The system operates from 0 to 130 km/h, including in traffic jams with stops and restarts. A lane change can also be requested with the turn signal and then executed automatically when conditions allow.

This level 2 assistance does require keeping eyes on the road and the ability to take over at any moment. A system monitors the driver’s attention.

Google Maps and three years of service included

Google Maps will display compatible roads and the portion of the journey accessible in hands-free driving. A green light bar on the steering wheel will indicate the activation of the system.

The Cadillacs involved are the OPTIQ from the 2025 model year, as well as the LYRIQ and VISTIQ from the 2026 model year, depending on their eligibility.

Super Cruise will be included for three years. For compatible vehicles already delivered, the countdown will start after the necessary update. After that, Super Cruise and Connected Services subscriptions will be required. Their European pricing is yet to be specified.
