Tesla France has revised its discount mechanism for its electric sedan Model 3, making the Long Range RWD the cheapest option!

It’s a turn of events. Unless Tesla is prepping another commercial trick that will upset customers who recently placed orders. In any case, Tesla France has changed its sales strategy that had been in place until December 31, 2025, to offer a systematic discount of €3,100 on all versions of its Model 3.

Recently, Mobiwisy also discovered that available stock units benefited from an additional discount of €2,000. Again, this truth has changed, and now only a selection is affected.

The Confusion with Tesla Model Years

Panic-stricken by the collapse of its global sales – brand fans stubbornly refuse to acknowledge the truth of the numbers… – Tesla is urgently revising all its ranges. Model 3, Model Y, new trims are appearing (Standard), while others are disappearing. Is the customer sensitive to all this commotion which mainly serves to cloud the message?

For instance, we have a Model Y Standard, eligible for the CEE Bonus in France, cheaper than the Model 3 which is not eligible due to its production in China.

At the same time, all signals suggest that the Model 3 RWD will soon be phased out to make way for the Standard finish, which is slightly cheaper, in order to restore meaning to the historical pricing pyramid.

However, one problem: production of this version has not yet started in China, where European units are manufactured. The Model 3 Standards are currently being produced in the Mexican factory. In the meantime, Tesla France has removed the €3,100 bonus on the Model 3 RWD, but kept it for other finishes.

As a result, the most efficient Long Range RWD is now €100 cheaper (€41,651 for the former, €41,551 for the latter). A twist! And would you hesitate long between a configuration offering 520 km of range and another of 750 km (2026 model year) which also charges nearly 50% faster?

The question remains when Tesla will change its commercial logic yet again…
