Starway Unveils Two New E-Bikes
The Tours-based brand Starway expands its range of electric-assist bicycles with two new models.
The French company Starway, founded near Tours, unveils the Touring and Touring GT, two electric-assist bicycles that embody the brand’s spirit of freedom. Designed to suit both urban commutes and rural getaways, these new models rely on fully automatic technology and high-level comfort.
The Touring is aimed at users seeking a versatile and dynamic bike. Its rigid aluminum frame and suspension fork ensure excellent stability, while the belt drive and the Equi Motion system, patented by Starway, provide smooth assistance that requires no adjustment. Three modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport) allow the ride to be adapted to the terrain. Priced at 1 990 €, it features a 250 W rear motor and a 14 Ah / 500 W battery guaranteeing up to 100 km of range.

The Touring GT, priced at 2 190 €, takes performance further. Its 17 Ah / 600 W battery, Schwalbe puncture-resistant tires and integrated turn-signal lighting target users seeking greater comfort and safety. It retains the same technical philosophy with the Kevlar belt, the TPS® system and interactive four-piston hydraulic brakes.
Starway is also innovating on the services side: each bike comes with a free three-year theft insurance, resulting from an exclusive partnership with MMA. In case of theft, the bike is replaced with a new one — a first in France in the e-bike sector.
