“A heart of electric vehicle, a soul of motorcycle”: this is how Ryvid describes its Anthem, which will soon be launched in the United States.

Based in California, the brand Ryvid is entering the two-wheeled market with the Anthem motorcycle. Without revolutionizing the genre, this small electric roadster opts for a modern and sharp style. It can adapt to most sizes thanks to an adjustable seat height (from 762 to 864 mm).

Built around a stainless steel frame, the Ryvid Anthem weighs 109 kilograms with the battery. It can reach a top speed of 120 km/h. An adjustable transmission allows prioritizing either acceleration or longer range. The electric motor, located at the center of the frame, delivers a maximum torque of 72 Nm. The horsepower power has not been disclosed, however.

The Ryvid Anthem features a 5-inch TFT screen.

A Ryvid Anthem with 120 km of range

The Ryvid Anthem is equipped with a 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery. It is removable but, given its weight (about thirty kilograms), it will not be easy to transport.

In Eco mode, the motorcycle can theoretically cover 75 miles between charges, roughly 120 km. With Sport mode, which disables the energy recovery system during braking, the range drops to about 50 miles (80 km).

Initially, Ryvid will launch a series of Anthem releases. Its price has been set at $7,800 (about €7,700). Reservations will open from August 14, and the first units are expected to be delivered later next year. Currently, the Ryvid Anthem is not available for sale in our country. A potential arrival in Europe has not yet been discussed by the young American manufacturer.
