You are increasingly switching to electric bikes in 2022. If you’re looking for a model at a reasonable price, many brands are offering discounts at the end of September 2022. Here is our selection of 5 discounted e-bikes.

Cowboy 3: €700 Discount

While the Cowboy 4 launched last year is the most complete and interesting, it hasn’t completely replaced the previous model. The Cowboy 3 continues its run and appears this autumn with a substantial discount. Visually close to the recent e-bike, it features a sleek design, connectivity, and is suited for urban use. Its battery is removable within the seat tube, and its rear motor delivers 30 Nm, while the belt drive makes it easier to use in urban areas. Available at €1,590 until September 30th with the current discount, the Cowboy 3 is €1,200 cheaper than the “4”. And you can add up to €400 via the national electric bike bonus!

Decathlon Elops 920E Connect at -€200

This is the latest model of electric bike from the sports equipment brand. Decathlon launched this 920 E Connect early this year, which we tested. It offers very good value for money, especially since it includes connected features for the first year (€24/year). Its 50 Nm motor is quite smooth, with a retro style and a satisfying range of 50 km. Although new, it already offers a back-to-school promotion with a €200 discount, bringing it to €1,699 in stores and only €1,299 after applying the national support of €300 to €€400!

Vanmoof S5 and A5, Launch Offer of €500

Right now, it’s hard to resist the very recent Vanmoof S5 and A5. Available for just a few weeks, they are listed at an attractive price similar to the previous A3 and X3 models, which are still on sale. Since these latest models no longer have discounts, these highly connected e-bikes are super appealing with an app offering various functions: locking, proximity unlock, geolocation, or adjusting gears or horn via speakers. The A5 and S5 maintain an ultra-minimalist design, with a front motor and non-removable battery within the tube. They are therefore priced at €2,498 until October 1st, increasing to €2,998 afterward.

Möbius Paris, a Price That Sends a Message

It is eco-friendly with its bamboo replacing steel, and uses recycled aluminum or carbon for the rest of the frame. The Möbius Paris is a beautiful electric bike designed to minimize its component mileage, coming from Europe. Very lightweight at under 20 kg, it is highly maneuverable and practical city-wise with its flexible belt, and its display is intuitive for daily use. The range meets expectations with approximately 50 km measured. While the connected “Strasbourg” model exceeds €2,500, the Paris is priced at €2,080 and at launch at only €1,880 for a limited time.

Norauto: Up to €300 Off on Wayscral Electric Bikes

Norauto is not just a network of auto centers but also sells its own electric bikes. Known under the brand Wayscral, they are already quite affordable. However, a back-to-school promotion in 2022 makes them even more attractive. The cheapest electric bike is the Wayscral Everyway E100, dropping from €749 to €599 until October 4th. Hard to beat, though with a maximum range of 40 km and a small 35 Nm motor. You can also apply a 40% discount with the national bonus, bringing the final price to €359.40.
