Cityscoot launches a monthly subscription in Paris

A potentially interesting new option for those who regularly use Cityscoot scooters.

Cityscoot has likely won over many customers with the implementation of paid parking for thermal two-wheelers in Paris. The operator will now try to retain them with a monthly plan called “CityMove”.

Offered to all users, this new subscription costs €129 per month. It allows the use of Cityscoot electric scooters for up to 500 minutes per month, every day and with no trip limit.

If the subscriber does not use all their credit during the month, the remaining minutes cannot be carried over later. In other words, they will not be refunded the following month, even if the user extends their subscription.

The CityMove subscription is without commitment. It is automatically renewed at the end of each month.

Regular users of the service will have every interest in opting for this new plan, which should allow them to make significant savings compared to minute packs. These remain interesting for more occasional use of the service, as they are valid for one year.

Do Cityscoot’s competitors offer similar subscriptions?

Cooltra offers subscriptions that last for a set period, but none extend over a month. To find something similar to CityMove, you should look at Yego, which offers a 30-day subscription for €119. The constraints are not quite the same: Yego imposes a limit of 1,000 minutes per month, plus a limit of 100 minutes per day.

While Cityscoot reserves the CityMove subscription for its Parisian users, Yego also offers its 30-day plan in Toulouse, at a lower cost (100 euros / month).
