SEAT has just opened orders for the MO 125 Performance, the sportier version of its electric scooter.
The SEAT MO is a rebadged Silence S01 by the Spanish car manufacturer. Similar to the latter, it is now offered in a more powerful configuration, officially named “MO 125 Performance”. Presented during EICMA Milan, this version is now available for order.
The price is set at €8,900, with an ecological bonus of €900 not deducted. This represents an additional cost of €1,700 compared to the standard MO 125. Nonetheless, the MO 125 Performance remains cheaper than the Ray 7.7, another Spanish electric 125cc scooter known for its liveliness. Note that SEAT also offers a rental option, at €146 per month.
SEAT also plans to offer a 50 cc version of its MO, but this has not yet been commercialized. Visually identical to the 125, it will serve as a high-end model in the category of license-free electric scooters. SEAT MO 125 Performance: a top speed exceeding 100 km/h
Compared to the Standard MO, the Performance gains 2.5 kW in maximum power, reaching 11.5 kW. This boost logically improves performance: 0 to 50 km/h in 2.9 seconds (-1 second) and top speed increases to 105 km/h (+10 km/h). The removable battery, which features wheels for easier transport, has a capacity of 5.6 kWh. It guarantees a theoretical range of 133 km. Charging is done via a standard household socket. It takes between 6 and 8 hours to fully restore the range.
Deliveries of the SEAT MO 125 Performance will commence before the end of the first quarter of 2023.
