VanMoof: Two new e-bikes on sale starting today!

The Dutch bicycle company VanMoof has released two new e-bike models, more powerful and less expensive: the S4 and X4.

The new VanMoof S4 and X4 bike models are now available for purchase. Since the day before yesterday, you can order your innovative, sleek e-bike equipped with technologies. This is precisely what sets this young Dutch company (founded in 2009) apart, rooted deeply in the Netherlands’ cycling culture.

After all, it is well known: the Dutch are passionate about cycling. If you pay attention, you will surely see them around the Alps, the Pyrenees, and the Vosges Mountains in summer. It makes sense that they are at the forefront of bicycle innovations. VanMoof has therefore created the S4 and X4 models to meet this demand.

Priced at €2,198, the VanMoof e-bikes are now available in four new colors. The Evergreen color is already on sale. Purple Fog will be available at the end of May, Sunbeam Yellow at the end of June, and Foam Green at the end of July.

This gives you a new means of eco-friendly mobility, especially since this month of May is the bike month in France!

The news about VanMoof S4 and X4

It seems that the new investments have had an impact on VanMoof’s cycling innovations. The new S4 and X4 models are available for purchase. This company stands out from other manufacturers with its minimalist design, but also with its technological features integrated into the bike.

Thus, the S4 and X4 models feature an automatic 2-speed gear shift and an integrated Kick Lock Gen 4 security system that secures the rear wheel with a simple tap of the foot. The Turbo Boost, a favorite among riders, provides instant acceleration, and the dynamic motor support creates an intuitive, effortless ride.

The VanMoof bike will have a range of 60 km at full power, more than its previous model S5. In eco mode, the bike could theoretically travel up to 150 km. Be aware that this theoretical range can vary depending on your weight and outdoor conditions. An electric-assisted bike will have a shorter range in winter, just like an electric car.

On the technological side, it features built-in alarms and an integrated tracking system to ride with peace of mind. Additionally, the new S4 and X4 models have an built-in phone holder that allows you to use the VanMoof app as a dashboard. You’ll be able to record speed, duration, and distance of each ride.

A reasonable price for an electric-assisted bicycle, but make sure to test them at their distribution partners before making a purchase!
