Godzilla is back at Nissan!

Nissan unveiled today at the Japan Mobility Show the Nissan Hyper Force, the latest in its series of innovative “Hyper” concept cars.

The Nissan Hyper Force concept car, which strongly resembles a GT-R, is designed for racing enthusiasts and gamers seeking adrenaline on the track, but also environmentally conscious. It is a high-performance 100% electric supercar offering the ultimate driving pleasure while delivering high environmental performance and optimal everyday comfort.

At the heart of this concept car lies a high-efficiency 100% electric powertrain equipped with a solid-state battery, with perfectly balanced weight distribution capable of producing up to 1,000 kW of power for powerful acceleration. Robust aerodynamic downforces, an advanced version of Nissan’s e-4ORCE all-wheel drive system, and a lightweight high-strength carbon body promise exceptional handling on circuits and winding roads.

The Return of Godzilla

The exterior design, with its generous proportions, is a blend of elegant curves harmoniously merged with bold geometric details reflecting the vehicle’s performance. Several elements, such as the front and rear lights, pay homage to Nissan’s high-performance cars.

Developed in collaboration with the NISMO racing team, the high-performance aerodynamics generate a powerful downforce. The two-level aerodynamic structure under the front hood provides significant downforce and high cooling performance. Additionally, the two-level rear diffuser* optimally controls airflow.

The driver and front passenger seats are made from lightweight, highly rigid carbon fiber, ensuring comfortable driving over long distances. They are equipped with four-point seat belts.

Safety plays a crucial role in this concept car. Thanks to advanced autonomous driving with hyper LIDAR and a range of sensors suitable for sports driving, the vehicle is designed to ensure a high level of safety both on public roads and on circuits.

A Nissan for the virtual world… or real?

The appeal of the Nissan Hyper Force is enhanced by an innovative augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experience that allows driving interchangeably in the real and virtual worlds. When the vehicle is stationary, the driver can use a special VR headset to experience playful driving modes, including time trials or online competitions against other drivers. The driver can also face digital doubles—those of friends or even favorite professional drivers—on circuits through augmented reality. Users can thus develop their driving skills safely on real-world tracks.
