The 35,000 employees of TotalEnergies concerned have access to a ‘efficiency and energy transition’ fund of 2,000 euros gross.
As part of its transition strategy, TotalEnergies aims to support its 35,000 employees in France in their own ecological transition efforts.
TotalEnergies and the representative trade unions at the Company level in France (CFDT, CFE-CGC, and CGT) unanimously signed a collective agreement to assist employees in their energy transition, whether for their mobility or housing. This agreement notably provides the 35,000 affected employees with an individual ‘efficiency and energy transition’ fund of 2,000 euros, covering 80% of purchases or services related to housing and mobility.
For mobility, the fund can be used for:
- The purchase of an electric or hybrid vehicle,
- The purchase of a Crit’Air 1 vehicle,
- The purchase of an electric bike,
- The installation of sockets or charging stations for electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles at home,
- Devices that reduce vehicle emissions, such as ‘flexfuel’ or other vehicle conversion kits for biofuels.
In housing, to contribute to:
- Housing renovation: energy performance diagnosis, insulation work and materials, installation of meters and electricity resale contracts,
- Housing improvement: installation of solar panels, home wind turbines, heat pumps, new boilers (pellet, wood, condensing gas, or high-efficiency), smart thermostats (or with advanced regulation), solar or thermodynamic water heaters, and other greener heating modes,
- The purchase of certain high-energy-efficiency appliances or those with high repairability indices.
The agreement will be effective from January 1, 2024, for a duration of 5 years and applies to employees of all companies based in France that are 100% owned, as well as employees of companies owned at least 50% if authorized by their governance bodies.
