Intersport Nakamura’s rich lineup features the Crossover LTD standing out at the end of the year with an amazing promotion.

Intersport has a certain expertise in the cycling world. Especially since 2013, when it took over the Manufacture Française du Cycle (MFC), becoming a manufacturer made in France. Able to compete with Decathlon’s B’Twin branch, the in-house Nakamura bike brand first increased its production to 90,000 units annually and then to over 300,000 by the end of 2022.

The Intersport Nakamura Crossover LTD is an entry-level electric assist city bike in the VTC category. It features a 7-speed transmission and a 45 Nm hub motor powered by a 375 Wh battery, directly competing with the Decathlon Riverside 520 E

This versatile bike targets commuters who want to ride around town or take some excursions during their free time or weekends. Like its smaller siblings from the Intersport Crossover family, it features a suspension fork, but with a larger travel of 100 mm (versus 65 mm).

It features the classic transmission and motor setup of entry-level Nakamura electric bikes. The 7-speed MicroShift gear derailleur is paired with a 36-tooth crankset, while the motor is positioned in the rear hub. It delivers a maximum torque of 45 Nm and is associated with a 375 Wh battery. Intersport promises a maximum range of 60 km, but outings longer than two hours are generally discouraged unless you want to push your legs hard on the return trip.

With its large 27.5-inch wheels, it is not the most maneuverable in tight city spaces, making it less suitable for weaving between parked cars or fitting into building storage rooms. It is better suited for rural areas or suburban bike paths.

The Nakamura Crossover LTD is currently on promotion for 500 euros, dropping its price from 1299.99 euros to 799.99 euros. After applying the ecological bonus – 40% of the cycle’s price or up to 300 euros – the Nakamura effectively costs only 499.99 euros!
