Revving up your wheels on a Formula 1 circuit? Nothing better for a 435 hp MG4 that speeds from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The MG4 XPOWER is equipped with a dual motor setup producing 435 hp and up to 600 Nm of torque. MG Nordix and NBenelux had the clever idea of inviting the press to a test on the Zandvoort Formula 1 circuit to see if this small race car truly belongs alongside the most powerful high-performance combustion engines on the market.
Outside, you’ll recognize the XPower version by its orange brake calipers, black roof, new 18” alloy wheels, and polished decorative elements. Additionally, this version is available in a new exclusive color, hunter green.
Aiden He, CEO of MG Nordic and Benelux: “We are convinced that the MG4 XPOWER will shake up the market just as much as the MG4 SE and Trophy have, demonstrating that a compact electric vehicle can be affordable, practical, and highly performant. We expect it to appeal to customers seeking pure performance who are not charmed by traditional “loud” high-performance hatchbacks.”

Supported by the modular scalable platform (MSP) of the MG4, the XPOWER is equipped with a completely new dual motor configuration that delivers up to 435 hp to all four wheels via electric motors at the front (150 kW) and rear (170 kW).
The upgraded powertrain not only offers unrivaled straight-line performance but also includes advanced technological improvements to efficiently distribute power and maximize driver engagement during cornering.
A brand-new dynamic corner control system will be available for the first time on an MG, featuring an electronically limited-slip differential and intelligent motor control to allow power distribution between all four wheels, enabling maximum traction and excellent control in all driving conditions.

A wide range of suspension improvements has been made, including modified springs and dampers, stiffer stabilizer bars, and more precise steering. The overall rigidity of the suspension has increased by 25%, which means the MG4 Electric XPOWER benefits from the acclaimed handling characteristics of current MG4 models.
The increased braking power reduces the 100 km/h stopping distance of the MG4 XPOWER to just 33.9 meters, thanks to vented 345 mm discs on all four wheels, with new high-end Bridgestone Turanza tires providing excellent grip without compromising rolling efficiency.
To highlight the capabilities of the new model, a new launch control function allows the driver to experience the XPOWER in its ultimate form, going from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds.
