21% Discount on the Xiaomi Pro 4

A great discount at Decathlon on the powerful and durable Xiaomi Pro 4 electric scooter now available for 549 euros.

The major upgrade in this fourth generation of Xiaomi electric scooter is the motor. Still integrated into the front wheel, it delivers up to 700 W peak power. According to the brand, this allows the device to handle 20% slopes without losing power. The Mi Scooter 4 maintains the regulated maximum speed of 25 km/h but does not specify pedestrian modes (5 km/h) or 20 km/h modes.

The battery has a capacity of 12400 mAh or 446 Wh, the same as the Electric Pro 2, and higher than the Mi Scooter 3 with its 7,650 mAh (275 Wh). It remains below other competitors like the Niu KQI3 Pro (486 Wh) or the Ninebot G30 (551 Wh). The range of the Chinese scooter is therefore promising up to 55 km at a constant 15 km/h.

A revamped display interface

Visually, the Scooter 4 Pro is hardly distinguishable from the Pro 2 or Mi Scooter 3, except for the deck disguised to make the battery almost invisible. The changes are mainly technical, including, according to Xiaomi, an aluminum frame that allows for more weight capacity. This is a good thing, as the Pro 4 isn’t a lightweight with 16.5 kg on the scale.

Comfort has also been improved thanks to the 10-inch Xiaomi Duragel self-healing gel tires, compared to 8.5 inches for the previous model. The manufacturer also optimized the scooter’s display, adding a magnetic charging port.

A price increase well offset by the promotion

With its new features, especially the motor and 10-inch wheels, the electric scooter offers great value. Of course, this comes at a cost, and at its launch price of 649 euros, the Xiaomi Electric Scooter 4 Pro was positioned in the higher price range of its segment. With this promotion valid until 12/26/2023 at Decathlon, it is now listed at 549 euros, a price much more in line with its features.
