Ducati Enters Electric MTB Market

After introducing its electric road bike with the Futa, Ducati announces the release of two electric mountain bikes: the MIG-S and the TK-01RR.

Ducati continues to explore various modes of two-wheeled transportation. After electric scooters and road bikes, here are the mountain bikes!

Starting at 5,590 euros, the Ducati MIG-S is designed to tackle all trails and guarantee maximum fun in all conditions. Designed by Aldo Drudi, this model features the Shimano EP8 motor, a benchmark in the category thanks to its light weight of 2.6 kg and compact dimensions. With a maximum torque of 85 Nm and an assistance ratio of up to 400%, this power unit provides strong pedaling power with a smooth, direct, and natural delivery. Paired with the Shimano E-tube Project App, the EP8 system allows advanced levels of customization to adapt the motor’s character to the user’s needs.

The telescopic seat post KS with remote control from the handlebar, powerful and modular SRAM Guide T four-piston brakes, and the 12-speed SRAM NX rear derailleur (11-50T) ensure performance and safety in all conditions. The differentiated Thok e-plus rims with Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S 29″ x 2.6 Hyperwall tires in the front and Pirelli Scorpion E-MTB S 27.5″ x 2.6 at the rear allow for overcoming the most difficult obstacles.

With its aluminum frame, this mountain bike features a 630Wh battery located under the diagonal tube, ensuring a very low center of gravity, maximizing maneuverability and stability.

From Leisure to Descent

The Ducati TK-01RR is an E-Enduro designed for the most extreme off-road available at 7,690 euros. Built to enhance performance in all situations, especially when trails become more challenging and technical, this off-road bike is equipped with a Shimano EP8 motor with 85 Nm of torque, high-end component geometries such as a 12-speed transmission and Shimano XT four-piston brakes, an Öhlins RXF38 180 mm fork, and an Öhlins TTX shock absorber.
