The new Renault Symboz unveiled Thursday

Renault will unveil its new C-segment model, Symbioz, for the first time worldwide on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at 8:30 a.m.

Symbioz stands out as the most compact SUV in the C segment at Renault, measuring 4.41 meters in length. It slots into the lineup between the Megane, at 4.20 meters, and the Scenic, at 4.47 meters. A quick glance at the initial images suggests a profile quite similar to a raised station wagon. However, since station wagons are no longer in fashion, opting for a high-riding stance and calling it an SUV is more marketable.

The signature lighting elements, a hallmark of Gilles Vidal, Renault’s Design Director, are clearly present, immediately integrating the model into the manufacturer’s new range.

The model incorporates a wide range of advanced technologies specific to the brand, including a new-generation Solarbay panoramic opening roof that can automatically darken without using PDLC technology. This technology debuted on the larger sibling, the electric Scenic. Inside, a spacious and very bright interior can be seen. Although the photo doesn’t reveal the dashboard design, it will likely be very similar to the Scenic’s, which is very positive.

Symbioz will be equipped with a 145-horsepower E-Tech full hybrid powertrain. There will be no 100% electric version at launch, as Renault aims to diversify its offerings.
