Renault Symbioz

Le Symbioz is a simple, modular, and livable vehicle without being ordinary, and above all, it finds its place in the current range.

Positioned between Captur and Austral, Symbioz strengthens Renault’s lineup at the entry level of segment C, offering a compact “car to live with” suited to the needs of individuals and businesses. It is offered at launch in four equipment levels: Evolution*, Techno, Alpine spirit, and the high-end Iconic version.

The Renault Symbioz is positioned between Captur and Austral. Measuring 4.41 meters long, this new model completes the E-Tech full hybrid family already consisting of Arkana (4.57 m) and Austral (4.51 m), alongside the E-Tech electric models with Mégane and Scénic.

Only one hybrid powertrain with the now-famous 145 hp, made up of a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine combined with an electric motor powered by a 1.2 kWh battery. That allows for 80% of driving in full electric mode in the city. With a WLTP combined consumption of 4.6 l/100 km, the range can reach up to 1,000 km. Importantly, with CO2 emissions contained at 105 g/km and weighing under 1,500 kg, it is exempt from any penalties.

Starting at €34,900 for the Techno version, the Symbioz is accessible at entry level. The Esprit Alpine version begins at €36,400, while the range is topped by the Iconic version available from €37,900. Initial deliveries to customers will begin in September 2024.

Later in the year, the range will be expanded with an Evolution E-Tech full hybrid 145 version, then in 2025, with the launch of two mild hybrid powertrains, one of which will start at €30,000.
