The beautiful days are coming back, think about bike rental
This page is translated from the original post "Les beaux jours reviennent, pensez à la location de vélo" in French.

Summer is ahead of schedule, the weather is beautiful in Paris, and what if you switched to cycling? To keep it simple, here’s a quick overview of Véligo offers.
Are you a resident of Île-de-France and want to fully embrace a smoother way of getting around by switching to an electric bike (E-bike)? Véligo offers several rental options to help you with this transition.
Launched in September 2019, the Véligo service offered by Île de France Mobilités quickly won over residents of Île-de-France who wanted to switch to cycling. The aim of the service is clear: to convert users to electric bikes, to shift towards a less polluting mode of transportation (compared to cars) or to address the offer of public transport, or simply to be active and outdoors. Véligo has already allowed 90,000 users to discover the joys of bike rental and has since expanded its offerings to maintain its leading position in an increasingly competitive market.
Alongside the initial offer of the classic E-bike that Mobiwisy tried, a cargo bike and a long tail bike have now been added.

The cargo triporteur bike is slightly wider than a classic E-bike, but it offers more stability and space. It is perfect for transporting children (up to 2 children between 3 and 10 years old), animals, groceries, or other heavy loads thanks to its front box (cargo capacity up to 60kg). The long tail bike is more similar to the Classic E-bike and is perfect for carrying up to 2 children in the back (between 2 and 4 years with a baby seat or between 5 and 15 years without a baby seat) with a maximum of 60 kg.
For the classic E-bike, the subscription is for a firm 6-month period, with the possibility of extending it for a maximum of 3 additional months. A major change is that the price has dropped to 20 euros per month compared to 40 previously. The former rate of 40 euros per month now applies to the triporteur and the long tail bike. The rental duration is limited to 1 month (renewable 2 times for 1 month) or 3 months (non-renewable).

In all three cases, a subscription leads us to the big summer vacation departures. So isn’t this the perfect opportunity to enjoy a spring in the fresh air and try a new mode of transport?
