The Chinese manufacturer has decided to partner with Arval to reach the market of companies compelled to accelerate the electrification of their fleet of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Arval is a major player in long-term vehicle leasing and mobility solutions. By the end of December 2023, Arval was leasing more than 1.7 million vehicles worldwide. The memorandum of understanding was signed during an official ceremony held at BYD’s global headquarters in Shenzhen, China, attended by Michael SHU, BYD Europe Managing Director, Alain van Groenendael, Chairman and CEO of Arval, and other representatives from both parties.
