Renault Arkana: its price now starts at €26,922 (-€5,000)

The four-door coupe SUV from Renault has been a commercial success. Now that its career is slowing down, its prices are dropping.

There isn’t a day that goes by without Renault lowering its gasoline prices. And not by small amounts. The offensive has been fierce for a few months now, with the latest example being the Arkana. Launched in 2020 and produced at the Gangseo factory in South Korea, it is based on a platform similar to that of the Megane. In fact, in some markets, its name is not Arkana, but Megane Conquest.

A true success at its launch, as it filled a gap in the Renault catalog, the Arkana has already sold over 250,000 units. In 2023, it underwent its first facelift. Today, its starting price has dropped by 5,000 euros from 31,980 to 26,922 euros.

Is it a very attractive price?

Don’t look for a diesel version of the Arkana, it does not exist. Again, the reason comes from the Asian production location where this type of engine is not popular.

The models in question feature the Equilibre mild hybrid 140 EDC trim and Glacier White color. To be completely clear, with 131 g of CO2 emitted per kilometer, the ecological penalty in 2024 will be 330 euros.
