The price of the Peugeot 3008 hybrid drops by 760 euros

Peugeot is directly competing with its own dealers by discounting the price of the new 3008 Hybrid 136 on its Store.

Carlos Tavares, the CEO of Stellantis Group, has said repeatedly: in the long run, he no longer wants to “pay the salesperson“. Understand this to mean the dealers. Consumer habits and the relationship to ownership are changing, so the sales model must evolve as well. If Stellantis brands can sell directly to consumers, then why not do it? This will always mean a few hundred extra euros earned per vehicle sold, and over time, this can quickly add up.

Thus, the Peugeot Stores, Citroën, Fiat, and others are great places to browse for good deals. Deliveries are then made at the chosen dealership, and the internal dynamics within Stellantis no longer concern the buyer.

2% discount on Peugeot 3008

It is uncommon to see a car discounted immediately upon its market launch (the first deliveries will start in August 2024!). Stellantis is not holding back on old practices: a sale is now concluded either immediately or not at all. Therefore, the list price hardly means anything anymore. We’ve known this for a while, but still. At the same time, we are watching for discounts on Renault Scenic, but nothing is moving on that front…

The Peugeot 3008 Hybrid 136 sees its price drop by 2% from 38,490 to 37,730 euros in the blink of an eye. That’s 760 euros you would rather keep in your pocket than elsewhere, right?

The electric version is not yet included in this discount… but it won’t be long before it is, as the pricing position of the E-3008 will condemn it to a timid commercial existence. This is the harsh law of the market, especially against Tesla and Renault.
