New BMW 1 Series, its prices and trims

With a completely revamped engine range and significantly improved chassis technology, the new BMW 1 Series is here.

In this fourth generation, BMW primarily offers new engines equipped with the very trendy 48V mild hybrid technology. For driving pleasure, of course, for reduced consumption, that goes without saying, but especially to avoid penalties!

With a long hood, an interior pushed as far back as possible, a dynamic roofline, and a powerful rear, the 1 Series retains its stylistic markers. It is impossible to confuse it with another model in the lineup; it is unique to BMW. No revolution, except for a redesigned front that visually appears lower than that of its predecessor.

Compliant Spirit

The exterior length of the new 1 Series has increased by 42 millimeters to reach 4,361 millimeters, while the wheelbase measures 2,670 millimeters. The vehicle’s width is 1,800 millimeters, and the height has increased by 25 millimeters to achieve 1,459 millimeters.

All the available engines in the new 1 Series come from the latest generation of modular engines from the BMW Group. The three-cylinder gasoline engine of the new BMW 120 and the four-cylinder diesel engine of the new BMW 120d are combined with 48V mild hybrid technology.
