Autoroute A13

Prefect Laurent Hottiaux announced the total reopening of the A13 motorway in both directions within a week.

The work carried out since April by the state services and the Departmental Council on the segment of the A13 motorway between Vaucresson and Paris is finally reaching its conclusion. The A13 had been closed due to a landslide since April 19. It will reopen in the Province-Paris direction on Thursday, June 20, and in the Paris-Province direction on Monday, June 24.

After the discovery of a transverse crack in the A13 due to a landslide, the prefect decided last April, in order to ensure the safety of users, to close the Vaucresson-Paris segment of the motorway in both directions of traffic.

The Hauts-de-Seine Departmental Council has undertaken repair work on the cracked pipeline. Filling works, carried out by the FAYAT company, have allowed for the stabilization of the retaining wall of the motorway. The Directorate of Roads of Île-de-France (DiRIF) is finalizing this week the renovation works of the roadway necessary for the resumption of traffic from Paris to the Province.

The smooth progress of all the works being carried out ensures a reopening of the A13 motorway in two phases:

  • The complete reopening of the Province-Paris direction on two lanes, with no traffic restrictions, will be effective from Thursday, June 20, 2024, starting at 5:30 AM.
  • The total reopening of the A13 motorway will take place in both directions of traffic by the end of the day on Monday, June 24.

Good news for motorway users, as the closure has significantly impacted daily life. It is also good news in anticipation of holiday departures.
