Not only does it claim the title of the fastest electric transport vessel in the world with a top speed of 30 nautical miles or 56 km/h, the Candela P-12 is also the first capable of undertaking long-distance and high-speed journeys, a breakthrough in sustainable maritime transport. What sets it apart from traditional vessels are three carbon fiber wings positioned beneath the hull that allow it to rise above the waves, reducing energy consumption by 80% compared to conventional high-speed ships. Once in flight, the P-12’s control system adjusts the angles of the foils based on various sensors, ensuring a smoother journey without the discomfort of motion sickness. Several configurations are available, from the ultra-luxurious version with 12 seats to a passenger transport version that can accommodate 30 passengers.
