Tesla will change the motors of already circulating Cybertrucks

Under the guise of improving efficiency and reliability, the Tesla Cybertruck will be heading to the workshop to change their motors. Strange!

Several months after its launch, the electric pick-up from Tesla, self-claimed as unbreakable, will already return to the workshop. The reason is a weakness in one of its electric motors. The American manufacturer, staying true to its principles, does not provide further details. Only that this replacement action will be free for the customer and aims to improve both the reliability and the energy efficiency of the Cybertruck.

This recall campaign will cost Tesla a fortune, as several tens of thousands of Cybertruck are already in circulation in the United States. Youthful mistakes are acceptable in the automotive industry, but in the case of Tesla, the arrogance with which the American manufacturer sought to humiliate its competitors gives the impression of a boomerang effect.

A tarnished image!

Tesla does not specify which of the two electric motors of the Cybertruck already in circulation will be changed during the next workshop visit. In the United States, where legal action is a national sport to make a lot of money, sometimes it is best to say as little as possible to avoid giving arguments to the opposing party.

Tesla clarifies that safety is not at stake and is not acting in haste. Cybertruck customers are informed on a case-by-case basis, without seeming alarmist. However, it’s clear that there is a major defect in one of the motors to warrant this recall and very costly intervention for the manufacturer, both financially and in terms of image.
