Segway presents an all-terrain electric scooter

Segway-Ninebot launches today a brand new series of off-road electric scooters ZT with the ZT3 Pro E.
Segway started from the premise that a scooter is very practical, but sometimes the small wheels and light frame struggle against the challenges of cities and countryside. There are indeed monsters with suspensions and large wheels, but their price is often discouraging and when it comes to light mobility, it’s a bit out of bounds. With the ZT3 Pro E, Segway presents a new design concept around a robust frame with double telescopic suspension at the front and spring suspension at the rear. This is enough to smooth out the roughness of the terrain and reduce vibrations at the handlebar. With a ground clearance of 152 mm and 11-inch tubeless “off-road” tires, it may not be a model ready to tackle a special stage of the Dakar, but it should do the job in the city.

The ZT3 Pro E is capable of quickly reaching the legal speed of 25 km/h and climbing a slope of 25% thanks to a 1600 W brushless motor, all with a range of 50 km in Sport mode. If you only navigate peacefully on asphalt, the range reaches 70 km in Eco mode and a full battery charge can be achieved in 4 hours.
The 3-inch hexagonal LCD screen provides real-time updates, including speed, charge, driving mode, and more, while remaining clearly visible even in full sunlight. The lighting system is comprehensive with a 4 W front light, front and rear indicators, and a daytime running light in “X”, Segway’s signature.
