Adventure fans, INEOS launches its pick-up!

INEOS Automotive unveils a new two-seater version of its formidable Grenadier Quartermaster pickup.

But what got into INEOS Automotive to push the manufacturer to reveal a two-seater version of its Grenadier Quartermaster pickup at an event organized near Paris? Simply common sense, because a robust, practical utility vehicle with a tough appearance can only find its customers. Designed to meet the needs of professionals, this model features an optimized interior cargo space. This variant offers a volume of 850 liters with a flat floor behind the front seats, protected by a rigid partition extending from the floor to the ceiling. This design allows safe transport of loads, even in demanding conditions.

It is manufactured in Hambach, France, on the same assembly line as the Grenadier Utility Wagon five-door, five-seater. It is noteworthy that this less extreme model is exempt from any bonus-malus tax, as it is registered as a van (CTTE on the registration document) thanks to a distribution of passenger/loading volume that qualifies it as a commercial vehicle. No problem for our 2-seater Quartermaster, which is classified as a category N1 commercial vehicle and benefits from exemption from certain taxes in France. Better yet, with the suspension of the enactment of the 2025 Finance Law following the censorship by the Barnier government, it is almost certain that it will not incur any penalty for some months! Its starting price is set at €59,990 excluding tax, which is standard for this type of vehicle, but it clearly makes a difference in appearance.

With a wheelbase of 3,227 mm, which is 305 mm longer than that of the Utility Wagon, the Quartermaster can accommodate a standard Euro pallet thanks to a bed length of 1,564 mm and width of 1,619 mm. Its payload reaches 835 kg, and it maintains a towing capacity of 3,500 kg. A sturdy tailgate of 1,280 mm can support up to 225 kg when open, increasing its versatility for professional uses.

Like the other models in the Grenadier range, the two-seater version retains remarkable off-road capabilities, with a ground clearance of 264 mm, a water fording depth of 800 mm, and among the best approach, ramp-over, and departure angles in its category. Pretty clever, isn’t it?
