Are Elon Musk’s antics starting to make you regret driving a Tesla? In the United States, Polestar has a solution that might appeal to some disappointed customers. Until the end of the month, Tesla owners tempted by a brand new Polestar 3 can benefit from a $20,000 discount on its financing. Yes, you read that right, twenty thousand dollars! Needless to say, the Swedish builder, and somewhat Chinese, as a reminder, does not hold back in trying to attract disillusioned fans of the American brand.

Rest assured, Polestar isn’t offering a blank check because the brand already offers a $15,000 discount to all new lessees of its electric SUV Polestar 3. But it still adds an extra $5,000 into the engagement basket for Tesla owners or lessees. A nice bonus called “Conquest Bonus”, because yes, they are here to win your heart… and your bank account.

Polestar has the merit of hitting where it hurts. Its CEO, Michael Lohscheller, explained to Bloomberg with a lot of honesty that Musk’s rejection represents a golden opportunity to boost its sales. And honestly, after a year 2024 marked by catastrophic results, the young brand really needs it! The question now is what owners of other brands’ cars, considering switching to Polestar, will think of this operation. After all, once again, it’s only Tesla owners getting the benefit! And what if they rush to Tesla to protest against a discriminatory measure? As if making buzz on the back of a little partner kneeling could be a good way to discredit oneself. Honestly, with Tesla, every day is a new source of amusement and surprise.
