France Offers Denmark… a Bicycle!

During an official ceremony at the Élysée Palace, President Emmanuel Macron presented King Frederik X of Denmark with an exceptional bicycle.

Designed by the French company Radior, this “diplomatic bike” highlights the excellence of industrial craftsmanship from Ain and marks a strong gesture in France-Denmark relations. Radior, France’s leader in the design and assembly of electric assist bicycles, has embodied technological innovation and local manufacturing since its revival in 2021. The model offered, a symbol of durability and performance, reflects France’s commitment to eco-friendly mobility. Equipped with extended autonomy and an elegant design, it illustrates the shared efforts of both nations to promote sustainable transportation solutions.

This presentation took place during the Danish royal family’s state visit to France, from March 31 to April 2, 2025. During the event, Emmanuel Macron emphasized the importance of international cooperation in facing environmental challenges. The choice of Radior to represent French industry highlights the remarkable work of this company based in Bourg-en-Bresse.

The initiative also showcases Radior’s dynamic growth, thanks to products certified with Origine France Garantie. Besides this symbolic moment, the company is preparing to launch two new models: the two-wheeled cargo bike Simurgh and the urban Colibri, set to become the most accessible e-bike in its category.

This royal gift, beyond its ceremonial aspect, is a heartfelt tribute to French ingenuity and Radior’s ambition to stay at the forefront of sustainable mobility.
