The Dubai Police unveiled at the Global Police Summit a new patrol vehicle, a sleek electric Lotus Emeya-S.

In Dubai, as elsewhere, it is well understood that communication regarding safety and law enforcement is a true professional endeavor. To embody its commitment to sustainability and cutting-edge technologies, the Dubai Tourist Police, part of the General Department of Criminal Investigation, has integrated an entirely electric Lotus Emeya-S into its fleet of luxury patrols. As is customary, it is, of course, a gift from the manufacturer, delighted by this excellent publicity. And yes, being part of the Dubai fleet isn’t something just anyone can achieve!

The vehicle was presented with much fanfare during a ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre during the Global Police Summit, an international platform dedicated to innovation and cooperation in the field of security.

The presence at this event of Ramzi Al Atat, Regional Marketing and Public Relations Director at Lotus, clearly illustrates the aura surrounding Dubai’s automobile fleet. And incidentally, it is indeed a marketing operation for the manufacturer.

Performance and Eco-friendly Technology

Major General Al Mansouri received a detailed briefing on the Emeya-S, a high-performance electric car capable of traveling up to 600 km on a single charge, with a top speed of 250 km/h and an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Equipped with autonomous driving capabilities and an advanced digital interface, its modern and sustainable design embodies innovation.

According to him, the integration of vehicles of this caliber supports the operational strategy of the Dubai Police, particularly in iconic locations like Burj Khalifa and JBR. “These cars enhance our interaction with the community by providing safety and assistance while reflecting a forward-looking vision”, he stated.

Ramzi Al Atat, for his part, praised this collaboration, recalling the previous introduction of the Lotus Eletre R. “We are proud to support the Dubai Police in its transition to sustainable mobility solutions”, he asserted. And even prouder to be among the Porsches, Bentleys, Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, Ferraris, and other Bugattis of this unique squadron.
