The young French brand of electric bikes, Anod, turns a new page in its history with a successful fundraising round.
Anod announced this week a fundraising of 320,000 euros. Based in the Paris region with an assembly workshop located in Fontenay-le-Comte, Vendée, the startup has attracted Kima Ventures, the venture capital fund of Xavier Niel, founder of Free, as well as several business angels.

Despite a challenging environment for the electric bike market, Anod stands out due to its technological innovations. By combining supercapacitors and an electric motor, the company claims a minimum lifespan of 15 years for its batteries, while ensuring optimal performance even in extreme conditions, from -40 to +65 degrees.
