New look and new price for the Yamaha Tricity 125

For 2025, Yamaha updates its 3-wheeled scooter Tricity 125 following the 300cc version.

The Yamaha Tricity 125 remains true to its original concept: offering an accessible, stable, and practical vehicle for urban dwellers, especially those new to two-wheeled riding. This model retains its 125 cc single-cylinder engine, now compliant with Euro 5+, paired with a Stop & Start system that reduces consumption. Accessible with an A1 license or a B license along with a 7-hour training course, the Tricity 125 remains a relevant choice for beginner riders who will appreciate the safety of the dual front wheels.

The aesthetics have been completely revamped: the shorter front end and redesgined rear give it a more compact look, in the spirit of the Tricity 300. There is a Y-shaped LED lighting signature at the front and rear. This modern design is accompanied by 100% LED lighting, including for the turn signals.

A real update

The dashboard also evolves: a 4.2-inch color TFT screen makes its appearance. Connected via Bluetooth to Yamaha’s MyRide app, it allows for turn-by-turn navigation and offers several customizable displays. Standard equipment includes keyless start, under-seat storage, pockets, and a USB-C port.

On the technical side, the Yamaha Tricity 125 retains its LMW dual tilting front axle system, ensuring excellent stability in corners. The novelty lies in the adoption of an integrated UBS braking system. This system automatically distributes braking force between the front (220 mm) and rear (230 mm) discs for better efficiency.

Available in three colors: green, white, or gray; the Yamaha Tricity 125 will arrive in summer 2025 at a price of €4,999, which is €200 more than the previous model. A complete, modern, and safe scooter for the city, confirming its positioning as a solid alternative to traditional two-wheeled vehicles.
