Alpine Reveals Some Secrets of the A390

Three weeks before its official debut in Dieppe, Alpine’s first SUV in history reveals some early details.

Alpine is about to unveil its brand new SUV, pardon, fastback sport, the A390, which will be officially revealed on May 27, 2025, in Dieppe, just before festivities celebrating the 70th anniversary of the brand. This model, the second vehicle in Alpine’s 100% electric “Dream Garage” after the A290, combines unique design, cutting-edge performance, and French manufacturing.

The A390 sports a distinctive fastback sports silhouette, inspired 85% by the design of the A390_β concept unveiled at the 2024 Paris Motor Show. Its light signature, borrowed from the Alpenglow concept and the A424 Hypercar from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, enhances its forward-looking character. Powered by three electric motors and Alpine Active Torque Vectoring, the A390 offers five driving modes to suit every preference.

Designed to deliver maximum enjoyment to occupants, this spacious interior for five features an advanced version of the Alpine Telemetrics system, offering a dynamic and technological visual interface. To complete this immersive experience, Alpine partnered with Devialet, a leader in acoustic engineering. The A390’s premium audio system, equipped with 13 speakers, uses Devialet’s spatialization technologies for high-fidelity surround sound.

In line with Alpine’s DNA, the use of noble materials such as aluminum, carbon, and leather elevates the interior, embodying the “Racing car in a suit” spirit.
