TV Schedule for the 2026 Spanish F1 Grand Prix

Join us in Madrid from September 11 to 13 for the fourteenth round of the 2026 F1 season.

This weekend, F1 will discover the Madring with a new layout that promises to disrupt the habits of drivers and teams. After the long straights of Monza, we enter the unknown.

The Spanish Grand Prix will inaugurate the Madring, which is set up around the IFEMA exhibition center and the Valdebebas neighborhood. While this circuit hosts its first global event, the Madrid region welcomes back a discipline it had previously hosted at Jarama until 1981. This new stage concludes the European tour of the championship.

The main attraction bears a name: “La Monumental.” This corner, approximately 550 meters long and with a gradient of 24%, is expected to provide spectacular visuals and challenge drivers, cars, and tires. However, the Madrid challenge goes beyond this single turn. Heavy braking, rapid sequences, close barriers, and changes in elevation make for a demanding lap. An 8% ascent leads to a blind corner, followed by a descent that will further complicate finding the right reference points.

Under these conditions, the three free practice sessions will take on special importance. Teams will need to compare their simulations with reality, understand the evolution of grip, and adjust their aerodynamic compromises. For drivers, building confidence without pushing the limits too early will be crucial. The capacity to adapt could weigh as heavily as the intrinsic performance of the cars.

The weekend will follow a classic format, without a Sprint in F1, with qualifying on Saturday and the Grand Prix on Sunday. However, the supporting categories will significantly enrich the program.

Formula 2 will hold its usual two races. Formula 3 will conclude its season with a special program of three events, spread between Saturday and Sunday. This will provide multiple opportunities to score points and prolong the suspense around the title on a track that is still new to everyone.
