Only 2 days left for the Segway E2+ scooter at 249 euros!

Until September 15, Decathlon offers the Segway Ninebot E2+ V2 for 249 euros thanks to a discount of 50 euros.

Even though it is no longer what one could call a rookie of the year, the Segway-Ninebot E2+ remains a reference in the market for lightweight scooters at a low price. Segway-Ninebot is one of the most serious players in the market and continues to grow despite the proliferation of low-cost offers on online sales sites. So be careful, there is always something cheaper than cheap, but beware of reliability. The day you break down, it’s never pleasant to find yourself facing a robot in a poorly designed chat. At Decathlon, you have human representatives who know their products and are very well versed in manufacturer warranties and the best way to activate them.

The star model E2+ was discounted in 2023 to 299 euros at both Decathlon and Boulanger and Darty. These last two also currently offer a nice discount on the Segway, but they remain slightly more expensive than Decathlon. At this price, one should not expect a powerhouse or a marathoner. The power is limited by the 500W motor and the autonomy is equally limited to about 20 km. Segway promises 25 km, but with a 220 Wh battery don’t count on it.

The real strong point of the device remains its quality of construction. The front suspension absorbs urban shocks without flinching, well supported by the 8.1-inch puncture-proof and maintenance-free honeycomb tires. With an IPX4 waterproofing standard, there’s no need to worry about rain or splashes.

The price delta with other more expensive models mainly comes from the battery size. But this is a point not to be overlooked: a large battery means weight to carry up stairs or elsewhere. Finally, with only 17 kg, it is a lightweight that will do the job, namely transporting you on a daily basis and being easy to forget when stopped.
